A new DBS episode aired in the USA (DBS 90), and while the Latin American dub is way ahead (...for now, and hopefully it continues that way), it reminded me of how much I love the divine pantheon that Toriyama created. It's so incredible inventive and one of the wats Akira is an absolute god worldbuilding also a huge troll and comedy writer. Just. God I wish I had half of his creativity.

I've always respected Toriyama for naming most of his characters after food or musical instruments or underwear or whatever. Like, why not.

Ha, I didn't remembered that you were a Dragon Ball fan. Excellent icon, great choice.Teah, his theme namings are so hilarious. Having Goku real name being literally carrot has always being one of my favorite stupid puns. I remember than when Super was airing part of the Latin American fandom speculated about Gohan getting a new form, and named it "Gohan blanco". Someone pointed it out this would literally translate to white rice, and then I wanted it to happen just for the pun (Sadly, it did not)
