Jun. 22nd, 2021 09:11 pmMan, life has been a bit crazy as for late. New job, my uncle's ill, way Too Much of everything.
In other news, I'm 27! Got myself several things for my birthday, including The Institute by Stephen King. I't's... not a good book. I mean, I've read/watched this same plot, several times, much better done. It's long for the sake of being long, filling chapters with words but never saying anything new. Man, I liked The Dome better, and I hated every second I spent reading that book. But, like, in the end, it was an Experience, and I really liked the message at the end. This one... doesn't do nothing, it says nothing. It would have worked as a short story, I think. (And to be very sacrilegous, I prefer Eyes of Fire. Yes.)
Anyway, I'm still writing! Just. Y'know. A bit overwhelmed by Everything Else, so it's going slow. But it's going! (And distracted by Time Attack in Sonic Mania. Man, I love that game.)
